Ina Boesch
Ina Boesch, born 1955 in Zurich, is a freelance author, culture journalist
and cultural scientist.
She appears regularly on Swiss Radio DRS2 and publishes articles, among others,
in the „Bücher am Sonntag“ (Books on Sunday), in the literary
supplement of the NZZ on Sunday.
She studied Ethnology, History and Journalism at the University of Zurich,
lived in Mexico, did research in Peru and wrote her doctorate about Swiss
history.
For many years she worked as culture editor at Swiss Radio DRS2 and as cultural
scientist at the Academy of Art and Design in Zurich.
She worked for development organizations both in Switzerland and abroad, traveling
to many countries in Latin America, Africa and Asia for her work.
She conducted workshops and projects for the Swiss Agency for Development
and Cooperation (DEZA) and for the Swiss Arts Council, Pro Helvetia.
She lives and works in Zurich.
